Workshop Technician – Miller – £18ph

Summary

To work as a skilled Machinist within the workshop facility to manufacture and repair component parts for equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes.

General Duties

• OperateDeVlieg Jig Mill and / Or XYZ Protrak Bed Mill
• Liaise with Inspection and Engineering
• Loading / Unloading and movement or equipment and materials in the workshops
• General workshop duties

Responsibilities

• Carry out machining operations to work scopes, engineering drawings and appropriate specifications
• Expected to work to close tolerances
• Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times
• ensure machinery is kept clean and maintained

Working hours 37hours per week – time and half overtime

Mon to Thur – 7.45am to 4.15pm

Friday 7.45am to 12.45
