Mechanical Project Engineer /Manager – Wilmslow – £45,000 to £55,000pa – 40 hour week
We are looking for a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer / Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and be proficient in CAD 2D & 3D along with Solid works or other similar design package.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical drawings for this leading industrial machinery manufacturer.
You will have Project engineering experience and a mechanical design background. You will have ideally worked within a food or beverage manufacturing factory or design machinery to this nature.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical Engineering
- Create and review technical drawings and specifications
- Work with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that mechanical designs meet requirements
- Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Document and maintain mechanical designs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficient in 2D, 3D and Solid works (Ideally but other design packages accepted)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
