The Role
Our client is seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a hands-on, site-based position, offering far more than a desk-bound role. You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery, including:
- Software design and programming
- Electrical build and control panel assembly
- Research and development on custom-built machines, solving real-world engineering challenges and seeing projects through from concept to commissioning on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance existing machine designs, as well as contribute to new developments within the controls engineering team
- Develop and program control systems using platforms such as Rockwell RSLogix 5000 (or similar)
- Work across PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems
- Produce electrical designs using tools such as EPlan and AutoCAD
- Build and assemble electrical control panels
