Position
Grade 3 cleaner – 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday all year round.
Shift options: AM 6:00 am‑9:00 am or PM 3:30 pm‑6:30 pm. Please indicate preferred shift on application.
Start date 1 September 2026, subject to pre‑employment checks.
About the School
Millwood is a well‑established inclusive special school for pupils aged 3‑11 with a range of special educational and complex medical needs and challenging behaviour. It includes state‑of‑the‑art facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, specialist play and therapy equipment, and extensive grounds.
Responsibilities
Ensure the school is cleaned to an exceptionally high standard.
Reporting and Accountability
Report directly to the Duty Officer (Premises) and be accountable to the Business Manager and the Headteacher.
Qualifications and Training
- Relevant experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- Training will be provided.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and young people required.
- DBS clearance and other pre‑employment checks will be applied.
- Verification of identity, right to work, two satisfactory references and qualification checks required.
