Hours of work: 35 hours per week split over 7 days. This can include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

Established in 1885, Millwall Football Club is one of the most famous football clubs in England. Currently competing in the EFL Championship, they play their home games at The Den, which is based in South Bermondsey, and has been the home of the Club since 1994
Role Overview
Reporting to Kit & Equipment Manager, this role will be responsible for kit and equipment needs for the 1st Team, ensuring players and staff are fully prepared for training and match days. Supporting in the organisation, distribution, and inventory of kit and equipment, supporting the smooth daily operations of the 1st Team Operations.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Kit Management
- Assist the Head of Kit & Equipment with 1st Team equipment, from shirts and shorts to boots and training gear
- Preparation
- Clean, press, and prepare kits, including printing numbers on shirts, and ensure they are ready for training and matches
- Ensure all training equipment is cleaned and maintained and prepared for training sessions as required
- Distribution
- Kits are distributed to 1st team players and staff, with individual \”kit rolls\” prepared for each player
- Stock Control
- Monitor and record kit stock levels for 1st Team, ensuring there are sufficient supplies of all items
- Boot Care
- Clean, stretch, and change the studs on players\’ boots
- Dressing Room Organisation
- Prepare and set out the dressing rooms and coaches\’ rooms before all fixtures
- Logistics
- Prepare and load gear onto the kit vans / coach for away games and ensure equipment is transported and set up at the venue
- Communication
- Clear communication to Head of Kit & Equipment of any issues that arise
- Other areas of responsibility
- Understand and follow the Health & Safety related guidance and processes in line with the Club’s Health & Safety Policy
- Understand and follow the Safeguarding related guidance and processes in line with the Club’s Safeguarding Policy & Handbook
- Comply with all other Club policies and read the Club Handbook
- Data Protection
- Take responsibility for the protection of personal data and confidential information, ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulations and Millwall Football Clubs Data Protection Policy
- Training & Development
- Undertake all reasonable training, learning and development activity designed to support you in your role
- Responsible for your own behaviour and act in a manner that avoids and discourages any form of discrimination or harassment
- Comply with Millwall Football Club’s Equal Opportunities Policy
- Work closely with the Kit and Equipment Manager to ensure personal development and the adherence to the Kit Team’s objectives
Essential Requirements
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies
- Must exhibit a professional, well-organised approach with strong attention to detail
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- DBS check to be completed before appointment and every 3 years
- Can do attitude / Team player / Flexible on hours
