Millview Surgery is a friendly, forward-thinking GP Practice looking for a Salaried GP to work 4 - 6 sessions per week. We are looking for someone to join our 4 Partner Practice. We are prepared to offer a flexible and rewarding position to the right candidate. This is a great opportunity to join our accredited, well-established and reputable training practice, which accommodates nursing students and GP Registrars. Members of the Partnership are actively involved with the CCG and Nottinghamshire LMC.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed hardworking GP to join our already established friendly team, to deliver high-quality patient-centred care. We want someone who can integrate well into a team and is looking to provide a full range of primary medical services, including face-to-face appointments, telephone consultations, home visits, and on-call sessions.
About us
Millview Surgery is a friendly practice in the market town of Mansfield, on the border of the Peak District. We have a list size of 8500 patients. We use the clinical system SystemOne. We have a nursing team consisting of 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate, 1 HCA, as well as 2 Phlebotomists and a team of 11 admin staff. We also have a multi-disciplinary Practice team with care being provided by a First contact physio, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We pride ourselves on our teamwork and one of our biggest assets is a communal admin room for the GPs, where we can meet in the middle of the day to have lunch, catch up, and discuss any concerns or interesting cases. Our last CQC rating was good. We consistently have high QOF achievement.
We can offer the successful candidate 4 - 6 sessions per week, a competitive salary, 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave, contribution to the NHS Pension scheme, and indemnity fees paid for by the Practice. You will work with supportive and approachable partners.
Job responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our team for 4 - 6 sessions per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who values teamwork, continuity of care, and work-life balance.
- Routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and online)
- Managing a diverse clinical caseload
- Participation in clinical meetings and practice development
- Contributing to QOF and enhanced services (where appropriate)

- Disclosure and Barring Service Check
