Millthorpe School is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in our welcoming and friendly Inclusion Department. The successful applicant will work with students either in the classroom or in the Inclusion base, supporting the progress of students both academically and in terms of their personal development. The role also involves responsibility for delivery of pre-planned learning activities or interventions.
You will have experience of working with children or young people, and Level 2 qualifications in English and maths. A qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is desirable. You will also have good communication skills in order to build effective relationships with our students and staff.
The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.
