Senior Associate (6+ PQE) – Residential Real Estate
Location: London office (Cambridge offices also part of the team).
Key Responsibilities
- Advise high net worth individuals on the sale, purchase and financing of properties in urban and country locations across the UK.
- Provide advice to individuals, family‑owned property companies and landed estates on the management of residential and mixed property portfolios, including the grant and management of residential tenancies.
- Assist clients from the firm’s Private Client and Family teams with:
- the restructuring of property interests for tax‑planning purposes;
- transfers and occupation arrangements pursuant to matrimonial proceedings and agreements;
- security in support of private lending arrangements;
- handling probate assets.
- Support developers in the acquisition, development and sale of residential property sites.
- Advise leaseholders and landlords on large collective enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims.
- Consult with universities and Oxbridge colleges on the set‑up and administration of housing assistance schemes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven ability and experience in high‑value residential property work, gained at a high‑calibre firm.
- Experience in any of the areas listed above is desirable but not all are required.
