We have an opportunity for an experienced Funds Solicitor to join our investment funds team at a leading national law firm. The role involves advising clients on the creation, structuring and management of investment funds and collective investment vehicles, including VC, RE, PE, REITs, RIFs and pension funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project management of larger fund transactions.
  • Supervise junior team members on smaller fund transactions or ancillary work.
  • Coordinate specialist advice (tax, regulatory, charity law, employment, real estate investment) from other parts of the firm and external providers.
  • Engage in business development (preparing proposals, tendering, meeting with clients).
  • Assist practice management, ensuring consistency and quality across the team (dealsheets, documents, client communications).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years PQE with significant experience in investment funds.
  • Specialist experience in real estate and venture capital funds.
  • Proven project and team management experience on fund transactions.
  • Strong interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge of investment structuring and funds.
