We are hiring an experienced Corporate Solicitor into our Norwich office, to be part of our growing national Corporate practice.
Role
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Principal Associate to join our thriving Corporate team in Norwich.
Working alongside 4 Partners and a team of experienced corporate lawyers, you'll advise an impressive client base ranging from start-ups and university spinouts to established businesses, management teams and multinational organisations.
You'll be involved in a broad mix of high-quality work including M&A, corporate finance, fundraising, private equity, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and strategic corporate advisory matters, many with an international element.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity deals, acting as the day-to-day lead with Partner support.
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents while driving matters forward efficiently and commercially.
- Work closely with colleagues across our national offices and specialist teams to deliver seamless client service.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers, helping to shape the next generation of talent.
- Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business development and networking initiatives that support the continued growth of the team.
Qualifications
You will be a qualified solicitor with 10+ years' PQE and a strong track record in corporate transactional work gained within a national, international or respected regional practice.
- Significant experience handling M&A transactions.
- Confidence leading complex corporate matters independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent client relationship skills.
- An interest in a broad range of corporate work and a collaborative approach to delivering results.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities.
- Experience of private equity transactions would be advantageous but is not essential.
