Overview

As an Associate in our National Dispute Resolution team, you’ll help clients navigate complex disputes across sectors from pre-action to resolution. You work closely with partners and colleagues in a collaborative, high-performing environment that values client service and quality work. You’ll gain exposure to forums including the High Court, arbitration, tribunals and mediation, contributing to strategic dispute-resolution solutions. Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of contentious matters from pre-action to trial across commercial disputes, estate and trust issues, defamation, and corporate disputes
  • Advise and represent clients including businesses, high-net-worth individuals, educational institutions, healthcare bodies, and charities
  • Work across sectors such as private wealth, food and agribusiness, sport, technology, education, health, and charities
  • Support on matters in courts, arbitration and ADR processes and develop strategies for dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with partners and senior colleagues in a national firm with offices across multiple locations

Key requirements

  • Solicitor with 2–4 years PQE
  • Strong foundation in high-quality litigation work
  • Growing track record in business development
  • Willingness to work under supervision depending on experience
  • Experience representing clients in various dispute forums (high court, arbitration, tribunals) is desirable
