Join one of the UK's leading specialist agricultural property teams at Mills & Reeve. The role involves playing a key part within our Real Estate Agribusiness practice, working on high-value and complex rural property matters nationally. Based in our London Office, you will work within our Food And Agribusiness Sector Team, advising on a broad range of matters, including:
- Investment sales and purchases, and development projects for corporate landowners, education clients and charitable institutions
- Sales and purchases of agricultural land, farms and estates
- Equine property transactions
- Agricultural and business tenancies
- Farming partnerships
- Renewable energy schemes
- Mineral leases
- Refinancing work for rural businesses and landowners
Our clients include universities and Oxbridge colleges, corporate landowners, pension funds, charities, national farming businesses, investors in land and the owners of prestigious estates. You will work closely with Partners Paddy Lynam and Michael Aubrey, alongside a highly regarded team within our wider cross-office Real Estate NSL, led by Vincenzo Maggio. You will enjoy a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload, with direct access to clients and agents and the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships.
You will be confident running complex hybrid promotion schemes, and managing acquisitions and disposals of estates and strategic land, with an understanding of the relevant tax considerations.
