The Role
Are you a legal professional with a passion for innovation and leadership? We’re looking for a lawyer to lead our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) National Service Line (NSL). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of legal support, drive digital transformation and make a real impact across our fast‑growing, leading national practice.
The Person
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor. Either be a senior‑level PSL with relevant expertise in employment and (ideally) immigration law and proven experience of leading a PSL team, or a senior lawyer with the same expertise and equivalent experience. An individual who embraces digital tools and automation. A clear communicator with excellent written English and a flair for engaging content. Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
Activities
- Lead and inspire a talented team of PSLs, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in legal content creation—think blogs, newsletters, press releases and digital campaigns.
- Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues, helping them stay ahead of legal developments.
- Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency.
- Keep our lawyers sharp, ensuring they’re up to date with legislation, best practices and market trends.
- Support onboarding, making sure new joiners receive top‑tier know‑how inductions.
