Role
You are a legal professional with a passion for innovation and leadership. We are looking for a lawyer to lead our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) National Service Line (NSL). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of legal support, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact across our fast–growing, leading national practice.
The Person
- Qualified solicitor.
- Senior‑level PSL with relevant expertise in employment and (ideally) immigration law and proven experience of leading a PSL team, or a senior lawyer with the same expertise and equivalent experience.
- Embraces digital tools and automation.
- Clear communicator with excellent written English and a flair for engaging content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
Activities
- Lead and inspire a talented team of PSLs, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in legal content creation—blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns.
- Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues.
- Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency.
- Keep lawyers sharp, ensuring they stay up to date with legislation, best practices, and market trends.
- Support onboarding, ensuring new joiners receive top‑tier inductions.
- Collaborate across teams, working with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts.
