At Mills & Reeve, we're looking for a talented Real Estate solicitor to join our Agribusiness team as an Associate or Senior Associate. We are looking for someone who is 2 years' PQE and above with real estate experience gained in a large regional or City law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, complex transactions within the Food and Agribusiness sector.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team handling a diverse range of matters, including:
- Investment sales and purchases, and development projects for corporate landowners, educational institutions, and charities
- Sale and purchase of agricultural land, farms, estates, and equine properties
- Agricultural and business tenancies
- Farming partnerships
- Renewable energy projects and mineral leases
- Refinancing transactions for rural businesses and landowners
Our clients include Universities and Oxbridge Colleges, corporate landowners, charities, pension funds, national farming businesses, investors in land, trustees, and owners of prestigious landed estates. You’ll enjoy a varied and challenging caseload with direct client contact from day one, building long-lasting relationships with clients and their agents.
The role involves managing complex hybrid promotion schemes, acquisitions and disposals of estates and strategic land, while applying a solid understanding of relevant tax issues. You’ll work closely with Partners Paddy Lynam and Michael Aubrey, alongside a collaborative team within our cross-office Real Estate National Service Line, led by Partner Vincenzo Maggio.
