Here at Mills & Reeve we are hiring an experienced Family Solicitor to join the team in Cambridge, exclusively working with private clients including high net worth individuals and professionals.
The role involves undertaking family law work serving an exclusively privately paying client base with an emphasis on financial work and complex children cases for professionals and high net worth individuals.
The person should have:
- 5+ years PQE with training and experience in working in family law gained in a large City or regional firm or boutique/niche family firm.
- Enthusiasm and ambition.
- Experience in offering outstanding client service.
- The ability to build relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and colleagues.
- Self-starter qualities with common sense and initiative, and the ability to be a team player on complex matters.
- Evidence of building their own practice through proactive business development.
- Excellent communication skills including written English for drafting purposes as well as technical legal excellence and strong IT skills.
- A forward-thinking approach, embracing innovation and AI.
- Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
