Mills & Reeve is hiring a Digital Communications Intern for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract within the national Marketing group. The role is hybrid, requiring at least 50% office attendance in Birmingham, Cambridge, Manchester or Norwich.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimise website content, including SEO elements such as metadata and alt tags.
  • Create, schedule and publish content on Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, supporting campaigns (e.g., trainee takeovers).
  • Assist with podcast and video production and editing.
  • Monitor performance and produce social media analytics reports.
  • Update blogs, alerts and other website content.
  • Support development of CMS and social media best‑practice guidelines.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, internal communications and events.

Qualifications

  • Studying or completed a degree in digital marketing or a related field.
  • Highly digitally literate with strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in written English, grammar and proofreading.
  • Organised, analytical and able to manage detailed tasks efficiently.
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and strategies.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • (Desirable) Experience producing or editing podcasts.
