We are seeking a talented Associate (NQ+) to join our leading Real Estate (Agribusiness) practice in Cambridge. The role is based in our Cambridge office, where you will become part of one of the largest specialist agricultural property teams in the UK. Our team handles a diverse portfolio of work, including many of the country’s most complex and highest-value transactions. Our client base is diverse and includes prestigious landed estates, Oxbridge colleges, corporate and institutional landowners, charitable organisations, investment funds, national farming businesses and private investors. You will work directly with clients and agents from the outset, offering a stimulating and varied caseload with excellent opportunities to build long-lasting, trusted relationships.
The activities include advising on a broad range of matters, such as:
- Investment sales and purchases, as well as development projects for corporate and institutional landowners, landed estates and charitable organisations
- Sale and purchase of agricultural land, farms and estates
- Acquisition and disposal of equine properties
- Agricultural and business tenancies
- Farming partnerships
- Renewable energy projects (solar, wind and BESS) for landowners
- Mineral leases
- Refinancing transactions for landowners and rural businesses
