Overview
In this role you will join Mills & Reeve’s Oxford office to help shape the firm’s growing technology-focused practice. You will advise international tech clients, scale-ups, and academic partners on commercial matters while building lasting client relationships. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the office’s growth and help deliver practical, value-driven legal solutions. Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial contracts and strategic projects
- Handle high-value supply and purchasing agreements
- Draft and negotiate agency, distribution and outsourcing agreements
- Counsel on IT agreements and IP licensing
- Address data protection matters
- Develop client relationships and identify new opportunities
- Contribute to firmwide initiatives and, depending on experience, support supervision and leadership
Key requirements
- 2–10 years PQE
- strong technical experience in commercial, IT and/or IP law
- experience at a City or leading regional firm
- in-house experience would be advantageous
