We're looking for a lawyer to lead our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) National Service Line (NSL). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of legal support, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact across our fast growing, leading national practice.
The person
- The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor.
- Either be a senior-level PSL with relevant expertise in employment and (ideally) immigration law and proven experience of leading a PSL team, or a senior lawyer with the same expertise and equivalent experience.
- An individual who embraces digital tools and automation.
- A clear communicator with excellent written English and a flair for engaging content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
The activities
- Lead and inspire a talented team of PSLs, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in legal content creation—think blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns.
- Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues, helping them stay ahead of legal developments.
- Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency.
- Keep our lawyers sharp, ensuring they're up to date with legislation, best practices, and market trends.
- Support onboarding, making sure new joiners receive top-tier know-how inductions.
- Collaborate across teams, working with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts to elevate our national reputation.
Be part of a forward-thinking firm that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Make a real difference in shaping how legal support is delivered in the NSL and to support us in continuing to be a market leader.
The benefits
As you'd expect, we offer a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits.
If we offer you a role, we will conduct comprehensive pre-employment screening. This screening will include, but is not limited to, a basic DBS, verification of your right to work, a three year employment history and a self-declaration to assess your character and suitability for the role.
