Due to internal mobility, we are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Advisor in Birmingham, Cambridge, Norwich or Manchester.
The role involves supporting the recruitment of lawyers and business service teams. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition and working closely with the rest of the recruitment team, this role will be supported by the firm's Recruitment Administrators. Taking on a full caseload of their own, the role will work closely with internal clients (predominantly Partners and Heads of/ Directors of Business Services), external agents and candidates. The firm is extending their LinkedIn presence and the role will additionally work within this platform, when appropriate, to source direct hire candidates.
The person should have experience in:
- end to end (360) recruitment, ideally within a law firm or professional services;
- working with demanding internal clients and delivering exceptional client service within tight timescales;
- working with preferred supplier agencies to build high quality business partner relationships that deliver exceptional candidates for the business;
- using LinkedIn and other market mapping software as a tool to identify direct hire candidates and managing the direct contact with them to successfully secure them as employees.
The activities include working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, agreeing and taking responsibility for your own caseload of lawyer and business services vacancies that will extend across various offices, role types and national service lines. Once approved, you will business partner with the relevant stakeholders both in early discussions and through the process to advise on the recruitment campaign, suggest innovative approaches to the hiring process that may challenge Partner perceptions and all subsequent steps through to offer.
The benefits include a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits. If offered a role, comprehensive pre-employment screening will be conducted, including a basic DBS, verification of your right to work, a three year employment history and a self-declaration to assess your character and suitability for the role.
Use of AI during the recruitment process is acknowledged, and candidates are expected to use such tools responsibly, honestly and in a manner that allows for a fair and accurate assessment of their individual skills, experience and suitability for the role.
