We are hiring a Banking and Finance Associate into our leading national team, to be based in either Birmingham or Leeds.
The role involves joining Mills & Reeve's growing national banking and finance practice and building your career within a supportive, collaborative team. Based in Birmingham or Leeds, you'll work on complex, high-value domestic and international matters, with plenty of client contact and opportunities to develop your own experience and profile.
The person we are looking for will ideally be an ambitious lawyer with 0 to 3 years' PQE and substantial banking and finance experience gained within a recognised practice. You will bring:

The activities include advising banks, alternative lenders, funds, borrowers and other organisations across a broad range of financing transactions, including:
- Corporate banking and real estate finance
- Acquisition, leveraged and asset-based lending
- Government finance and debt capital markets
- Financing aspects of private equity deals, M&A and property transactions
- Funding arrangements for universities and not-for-profit institutions
You will also play an active role in business development, building strong client relationships and getting involved in professional networks across Birmingham or Leeds.
