Midday Supervisor

Requested is a fixed‑term position working 8.33 hours per week (1 hour 40 minutes per day), Monday to Friday, term time only. Mills Hill Primary School seeks a caring, enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to support our children through the lunchtime period, ensuring a calm, positive and safe environment.
What the role involves:
- Supporting pupils in the dining areas to enjoy a calm and positive lunchtime.
- Supervising queues and ensuring pupils move safely and sensibly around school.
- Helping to keep the dining area clean and tidy.
- Being a responsible and caring adult, with the wellbeing of children at the heart of everything you do.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and good relationships between pupils.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience of working with children.
- An understanding of the needs and behaviour of primary‑aged pupils.
- Kindness, patience and strong communication skills.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child wellbeing.
