Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Site Fitter role based in Radstock.

The Site Fitter will install, assemble structural steelwork and maintain mechanical components and systems at client sites, following technical drawings and specifications.

Daily tasks include preparing materials, using hand and power tools, fitting and aligning mechanical parts.

The role involves working closely with engineers and other trades, adhering to health and safety procedures, and completing work to agreed standards and timelines.

The Site Fitter will also be responsible for reporting progress, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement of on‑site practices.

Qualifications

  • Practical mechanical fitting skills, including assembly, installation, and alignment of mechanical components and steelwork
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, diagrams, and written specifications.
  • Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
