Our field-based Servicing Team forms an essential part of our business, and we are currently seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about taking their career to the next level. We have an exciting opportunity for the right engineer to join our expanding department and help Mills maintain our position as the leading service providers in the industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance of the DN Solutions Machines and others in accordance with our internal servicing standards
  • Diagnosing faults and making repairs where appropriate
  • Fostering strong professional relationships with all Mills CNC clients
  • Ensuring strict compliance with our internal health and safety protocols and procedures
  • Sharing information within Mills in line with our Quality Processes

Who we’re looking for:

  • A qualified engineer with recognised apprenticeship
  • Living within the Nottingham, Sheffield or Greater Manchester areas to attend customers primarily in the North of England
  • The successful candidate may also be asked to attend customer sites throughout UK and Ireland when required
  • A professional and effective communicator
  • A strong proactive attitude and approach to resolving issues on site
  • Knowledge of CNC turning and milling machine tools
  • Experience in CNC Machine Tool maintenance (desirable)
  • CNC control experience on Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain control (desirable)
