Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a professional family-run transport operation based in Erdington. Our client specialises in general haulage and 3PL distribution services, collecting, decanting, and re-palletising goods for onward redistribution to Aldi and Lidl RDC and NDC operations nationwide.
We are looking for reliable and professional drivers for ongoing full-time work. Shifts typically consist of between 2 and 3 deliveries to RDC and NDC locations, with occasional return collections from commercial businesses and distribution sites.
Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service and transport compliance standards. This role involves self-tip deliveries using an electric pallet truck and handling palletised goods safely and professionally.
The fleet used for this operation is highly desirable and maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with modern, well-specced vehicles designed for driver comfort and operational efficiency. Drivers are expected to take pride in their vehicle, ensuring trucks are kept clean and presentable while also maintaining load restraint equipment and strapping in good condition as part of their daily responsibilities.
