Job Description HGV Class 1 C+E Driver - Fresh Produce Distribution - 16 Week Contract - £19.05 Per Hour Including Holiday PayDescription\n Millison Chase Limited is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 C+E Driver for a 16 week fresh produce distribution contract . \n The role involves collecting and delivering fresh produce between farms, packing facilities, RDCs, CDCs and distribution centres using refrigerated articulated vehicles. \n Drivers can expect approximately 1 to 5 deliveries or collections per shift , with shifts normally lasting 10 to 12 hours . \Pay and Progression \n \n \n Basic rate: £17.00 per hour PAYE \n \n \n \n Total rate including rolled up holiday pay: £19.05 per hour PAYE \n \n Weekly PAYE pay directly through Millison Chase Limited \n \n 16 week contract \n \n Potential for the position to continue beyond the initial 16 weeks \n \n Regular 10 to 12 hour shifts \n Responsibilities \n \n \n Complete fresh produce collections and deliveries \n \n Complete approximately 1 to 5 drops or collections per shift \n \n Deliver and collect from farms, packing facilities, RDCs, CDCs and distribution centres \n \n Operate refrigerated HGV Class 1 vehicles \n \n Maintain temperature controlled loads \n \n Complete vehicle and trailer checks \n \n Complete all relevant delivery paperwork \n \n Follow Drivers Hours and Tachograph regulations \n Requirements \n \n \n Valid HGV Class 1 C+E Licence \n \n Valid Driver CPC \n \n Valid Digital Tachograph Card \n \n Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience \n \n Fresh produce or refrigerated transport experience advantageous \n \n Comfortable working 10 to 12 hour shifts \n \n Able to accommodate early starts \n \n Reliable and professional \n Benefits \n \n \n £17.00 per hour basic PAYE rate \n \n £2.05 per hour holiday pay % \n \n £19.05 per hour total including rolled up holiday pay \n \n 16 weeks of contracted work \n \n Opportunity for the assignment to continue for the right candidate \n \n Regular hours \n \n Weekly PAYE \n \n Workplace pension where eligible \n \n No umbrella companies \n \n Dedicated Millison Chase transport support \n How to Apply \n 16 weeks of HGV Class 1 fresh produce work available with the potential to continue for the right candidate. \
