HGV Class 1 Driver – General Haulage & Palletised Distribution | Ongoing Work | Inhouse PAYE
Description;
Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing General Haulage and Palletised Distribution work with leading transport and logistics companies across the UK.
This role involves delivering palletised freight to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), National Distribution Centres (NDCs), warehouses, commercial premises, manufacturing sites and retail customers.
Drivers will typically complete 1 to 5 deliveries or collections per shift, depending on the route and customer requirements.
Most loads are forklift loaded and unloaded, with very little manual handling involved.
Day and night shifts are available with start times from 05:00am, and shift lengths are generally 10 to 12 hours, fully compliant with Driver's Hours Regulations and UK transport legislation.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for regular PAYE work, weekly pay and long-term opportunities with Millison Chase Limited.
Pay & Progression;
Days (Monday to Friday): £17.00 per hour
Nights (Monday to Friday): £18.00 per hour
Weekends & Bank Holidays: Up to £21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities;
Complete general haulage deliveries and collections
Deliver palletised freight to RDCs, NDCs, warehouses and commercial premises
Complete between 1 and 5 drops or collections per shift
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
Follow Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations
Maintain load security throughout each journey
Provide a professional level of customer service
