Job Summary: The successful candidate will manufacture and package pharmaceutical products according to written procedures under supervision, ensuring performance targets are met in compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety regulations. The role includes working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) using proper techniques and equipment and completing all necessary documentation accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all manufacturing activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice and company goals.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Production facility and communication of production issues to management.
- Perform regular internal compliance audits to ensure an audit ready Production facility.
- Ensure the accurate completion of documentation, including batch and development records, logbooks and inventory records.
- Inspect manufactured products to defined quality standards.
- Create, review and adhere to the standard operating procedures and documentation associated with the formulation, testing and manufacturing process for commercial and development products.
- Assist in qualification, re-qualification, calibration and validation of equipment to ensure all scheduled requirements are met.
- Demonstrate good communication, effective teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
- Maximise output and efficiency while looking for opportunities to drive improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
- Complete designated training assignments.
- Engage in individual development and continuous improvement programmes.
- Follow company Health & Safety policies.
- Comply with all aspects of the Millicent Pharma Quality System.
- Promote a culture of quality and embed quality system appreciation within the production team.
- Contribute to a positive team culture: trust, respect, communication, expertise development, and leadership excellence.
Essential Criteria:
- A-level or equivalent in Science, Engineering or Mathematics (or a closely related area), or a minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing and spoken).
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria:
- Further qualifications in Maths, Science, or Engineering.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- GMP experience.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet targets.
- Technical experience in a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience of validation activities.
