Position Overview
The Marketing & Content Executive is responsible for supporting Millgate’s marketing activity through the creation of engaging, accurate and commercially relevant content across digital, internal and external channels.
The role supports the Marketing Manager in delivering campaigns, social media activity, website content, email communications, vendor marketing, event promotion and reporting activity.
This role is designed to help increase Millgate’s brand visibility, support lead generation and ensure marketing activity is aligned with the company’s brand, values, client interests and commercial priorities.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage engaging digital content across social media, website, email, presentationsand campaign assets.
- Write clear and compelling copy for blogs, emails, case studies, client-facing documents and internal communications.
- Design or support the creation of marketing collateral in line with Millgate’s brand, housestyleand tone of voice.
- Support the Marketing Manager with planning and delivering campaigns that contribute to brand awareness, client engagement and lead generation.
- Manage regular social media posting in line with the marketing plan, ensuring content remains accurate, professional and commercially appropriate.
- Support website content updates, landing pages, SEO activity, keyword considerations and back linking opportunities to improve digital visibility.
- Assist with paid advertising activity where required, ensuring any activity is cost-effective, measurable and approved by the Marketing Manager.
- Extract and segment CRM data to support targeted marketing activity, ensuring data is used appropriately and accurately.
- Track and report campaign performance, social engagement, email results and other relevant marketing metrics.
- Support the planning, promotion and follow-up of webinars, customer events, vendoreventsand trade exhibitions.
- Work with Sales, Vendor, Commercial and Technical teams to ensure campaign messaging is aligned to business priorities and technically accurate.
- Support joint vendor and partner campaigns, including coordination of assets, approvals, reportingand follow-up actions.
- Create and distribute internal communications with support from the Marketing Manager.
- Maintain organised records of marketing activity, content plans, campaign outputs, supplier information and evidence where required.
- Undertake any other marketing-related duties reasonably required in line with the role and business needs, including but not limited supporting with Events.
- Support joint vendor and partner campaigns, including coordination of assets, approvals, reporting and follow-up actions.
- Maintain organised records of marketing activity, content plans, campaign outputs, supplier information and evidence where required

- Contribute to improved engagement across social media, email, website and campaign channels.
- Ensure work is accurate, professional, on-brand and aligned to Millgate’s commercial objectives.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Manager on workload, progress, risksand results.

- Maintain awareness of marketing trends, digital tools, contentmethodsand relevant technology sector developments.
- Seek feedback on content quality, campaign delivery and personal performance to support continuous improvement.
- Identifytraining needs and undertake developmentactivityagreed with the Marketing Manager.
- Communication
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliersand external contacts.
- Use clear written communication appropriate to the audience and channel.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to gather information and deliver effective marketing outputs.
- Compliance
- Comply with Millgate policies, procedures and quality standards, including the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System where applicable.
- Ensure marketing activity follows appropriate data protection, brand, approval and record-keeping requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling company, client, employee, supplier or commercially sensitive information.
