LAMDA Speech and Drama Coach (Peripatetic)
Millfield Senior School is seeking an outstanding LAMDA Speech and Drama Coach to join our vibrant Drama Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and inspirational practitioner to work with students from Year 9 to Year 13, developing their confidence, creativity and performance skills through high-quality LAMDA tuition.
We are looking for a creative and forward-thinking teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across a range of LAMDA disciplines, including Acting, Verse and Prose, Public Speaking, Musical Theatre, Reading for Performance and Devising Drama. The successful candidate will teach individual, paired and group lessons, preparing students for graded LAMDA examinations, showcase performances, auditions and festival opportunities. The role also involves supporting students' wider artistic development, helping them build theatrical understanding, performance skills and confidence both on and off the stage.
Working closely with the Director of Dance and Drama, you will monitor pupil progress, prepare students for examinations and performances, contribute to the co-curricular Drama programme and help promote the continued growth and success of Drama and LAMDA at Millfield. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about inspiring young performers and committed to securing the very best outcomes for every student.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Speech and Drama practitioners with a strong track record of teaching and preparing students for LAMDA examinations. Excellent communication, organisational skills and a passion for developing young people's performance potential are essential.
This hourly rate for this role is Β£27.06 per hour.
