Millfield School is seeking a Wellbeing Hub Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our School’s Wellbeing Hub. As the Coordinator, you will oversee the hub’s daily drop-in service. Using your empathetic and intuitive approach, you will triage students as they arrive—assessing whether they should return to lessons, benefit from time out in the hub, or need to be seen by the counselling or medical teams. Your judgement and interpersonal skills will be key in ensuring every student receives timely, appropriate care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the hub’s daily drop-in service.
  • Triage students as they arrive, assessing whether they should return to lessons, take time out in the hub, or require support from counselling or medical teams.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding, counselling, house teams, and wider pastoral staff to ensure a coordinated, student-centred approach to wellbeing across the school.
  • Manage absences using school computer systems, ensuring accurate recording and reporting for effective communication with relevant staff.

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent, term-time only position working 8 hours per week (32.6 weeks per year), 8.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Annual salary: £3,783.14 (inclusive of holiday pay).
