Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivational graduate from January 2026 who will be able to assist with both the academic and co-curricular provision in our busy and successful Music Department. The role is flexible: activities and responsibilities vary according to individual strengths. Our interns enjoy and gain valuable experience in one-to-one coaching, arts management, performance and administrative skills. The job provides a wide range of possible career openings. It\\\’s an excellent next step from university into the working world. The successful candidate will be exceptionally passionate, flexible in their approach, work across a variety of musical styles and activities, and have the ability to inspire and develop the talents of our students, whatever their level. Candidates of all music specialisms are encouraged to apply. Keyboard skills are advantageous but by no means essential. An interest in curriculum music, including composition and music technology, is also desirable. Details

The post is from January 2026; this is a temporary position ranging from 6 months up to 18 months, depending on the candidate\\\’s preference, with breaks for school holidays. Graduates will receive a salary of £17,781.64 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay), plus full board and lodgings (non-monetary, to the value of £3,208.66 per annum), as well as access to the school facilities and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school\\\’s Employee Assistance Programme.
