Based in Sheffield with 3 days in the office. My client is an award-winning IT managed services business. Following a number of successful acquisitions in recent years, my client is looking for a strong Financial Controller to continue to drive the Finance function of the combined IT Centre of Excellence forward.
This will involve partnering with the various Branch business leaders and production of high-quality, accurate financial information, with a strong focus on balance sheet control. Day to day your role will include leading on the production and continued development of management reporting for IT ensuring compliance with deadlines, working closely with the Group Finance Director.
Lead and advise on key performance areas within the month, driving a close meeting with local management and group management that clearly articulates the key issues in financial performance of the CoE. Work closely with the group business planning function to produce the annual budget for IT CoE, together with quarterly reforecasts.
Manage the team (both direct reports and other resources) to meet reporting deadlines. Produce and review a weekly 13-week forward-looking cashflow to help manage the operational cash flow of the business. Manage a team of transactional finance professionals.
Lead the Finance requirements gathering, planning, design and execution of the Netsuite implementation across the IT division. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with the ability to manage and develop the Finance teams (incl. line management of at least two staff) across the CoE. You'll be commercially astute and detail-oriented and have the ability to work without constant supervision in a fast-paced environment. Previous knowledge of NetSuite would be advantageous but not essential.
