We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Reactive Engineer to carry out both breakdown repairs (reactive maintenance) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on loading bay equipment. This includes dock levellers, scissor lifts, and associated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on scissor lifts, dock levellers, and other loading bay equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding, part replacement, and urgent breakdown support.
- Completing scheduled PPM to SLA standards, including inspections, testing, lubrication, adjustments, calibrations, and identifying early wear or safety issues.
- Following company policies, maintaining vehicle and stock to standard, travelling regionally/nationally, and carrying out reasonable ad-hoc duties.
High degree of mobility travelling throughout the region, and at times throughout the country, as and where directed.
