We are currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Specialist to be based at our Bury site. As the primary lead for all things refrigeration, you will support the Field Service teams and ensure the business stays fully compliant with current and upcoming F-Gas regulations.

Refrigeration Specialist job purpose:

  • Provide F-Gas related advice and technical assistance to field-based refrigeration engineers or Installations Teams by telephone or site visits throughout the UK.
  • Establish and manage an internal audit process to evaluate refrigeration engineering standards to ensure compliance with all F-Gas legislation/regulations.
  • Ensure all documents, technical publications and equipment are correct, up to date and maintained.
  • Ensure all refrigeration servicing is carried out as per customer contracts.

Key responsibilities as a Refrigeration Specialist:

  • Support the refrigeration engineers in carrying out their refrigeration related tasks as directed by the business or on request from the engineer.
  • Assist in the development of technical support data for refrigeration equipment and van stock parts in support of the refrigeration engineers.
  • Ensure all Engineer F-Gas qualifications are correct and up to standard.
  • Assist the business in resolving/managing refrigeration related problems throughout our customer base and visit site where required to see through to completion.
  • Provide a point of contact for refrigeration engineers relating to refrigeration matters.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with company and customer staff.
  • Diagnose chargeable tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company Health and Safety rules and notify your line manager of any concerns.
  • Provide accurate and up to date information to the business/refrigeration engineers on all refrigeration related matters.
