We are seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, workshop-based environment with a focus on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, strip down, and refurbish hydraulic rams to industry standards
- Manufacture and assemble new hydraulic hoses to specifications
- Pressure test and quality check all refurbished and new components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Diagnose hydraulic faults and recommend practical repair solutions
- Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work
Requirements
- Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components
- Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand hydraulic schematics
- Experience with hose crimping equipment (desirable)
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to health & safety and quality standards
