Job Description

The Deputy Commercial Manager will act as second-in-command within the Commercial Department, taking ownership of day-to-day operations across projects, stock, and order management. The role ensures smooth delivery of client projects, accurate reporting, and effective process control, while providing vital support to the Commercial Manager. This position is key to keeping the department running efficiently and enabling the focus on strategic priorities.

Deputy Commercial Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day delivery of commercial projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage stock across key clients, balancing availability with cost and cash flow.
  • Oversee order flow, reducing delays and clearing aged stock/orders.
  • Provide accurate reporting and insight to support decision-making.
  • Act as second-in-command for the Commercial Manager, taking ownership of operational decisions.
  • Support and guide the team to keep processes running smoothly.
