We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to join our facilities department. As a Facilities Operative / Gardener, you will be responsible for gardening and maintaining all company grounds to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees
- Plant seasonal flowers, trees, and other vegetation
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, and edge pathways
- Identify and treat plant diseases and pests
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping
- Good knowledge of plants, horticulture, and seasonal care
- Ability to use gardening tools and machinery
- Physically fit for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in residential, commercial, or public gardens
- Understanding of landscape designs and bedding schemes
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in grounds maintenance
