Role Overview

We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to join our facilities department. As a Facilities Operative / Gardener, you will be responsible for gardening and maintaining all company grounds to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees
• Plant seasonal flowers, trees, and other vegetation
• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and edge pathways
• Identify and treat plant diseases and pests
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas
• Follow health and safety guidelines

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in gardening or landscaping
• Good knowledge of plants, horticulture, and seasonal care
• Ability to use gardening tools and machinery
• Physically fit for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or public gardens
• Understanding of landscape designs and bedding schemes
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance
• Wide knowledge of gardening practices
