Supporting all of our customers is our Equipment Factory, which houses new and recycled foodservice devices. The workshop is manned by a team of engineers.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our existing team to work in our Workshop at Mossfield Mill, Bury. The purpose of the role is primarily the refurbishment of Scissor Lift Equipment.
Your Role:
- Repair and refurbishment of scissor lift equipment
- Inspecting individual components and repair/replace where necessary
- Run and test completed machines prior to submitting for final inspection
- Carrying out reasonable ad hoc duties within the company as detailed by the Workshop Manager
- Completing tasks within time scales and to the expected standard
- Working alongside the workshop team to complete tasks as efficiently as possible
Ideal Candidate:
- Mechanical Engineering Qualifications of NVQ Level 2 or above (Maintenance Engineer/Vehicle Maintenance or similar experience highly desirable)
- Experience and knowledge of Hydraulic systems (CETOP accreditation or similar)
- Experience with Hand Tools and Bench Fitting
- Experience in repairing, dismantling and rebuilding mechanical equipment
- A professional attitude towards work and a willingness to remain flexible
- A high level of attention to detail
