We’re seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead and optimise the performance of our industry‑leading fleet. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Salary: £50,000 per annum plus company vehicle or car allowance

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (42.5 hour week)

Location: Millers Vanguard, Bury

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and maintain a large fleet of vehicles including HGV’s, vans and cars. This includes PMIs, defect reporting and repairs.
  • Lead on safety, efficiency and compliance focusing on cost control, risk management and root-cause analysis.
  • Drive operation excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee fleet availability.
  • Investigate accidents within the fleet ensuring all necessary evidence is obtained for insurers etc.
  • Working with various departments on vehicle specification/requirements and obtaining quotes.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in Transport Management
  • Hold a Transport Management CPC
  • Have strong organisational & computer skills
  • Experience working with fleet management or telematics systems
