We are seeking a dedicated Technical Surveyor to join our expanding Commercial team in Bury. The role primarily involves conducting comprehensive electromechanical reports during extensive travel across the country on a weekly basis.
The main responsibilities:
- Generate meticulous, high-quality reports utilising a range of Microsoft tools and applications.
- Collaborate with the commercial team, providing technical and visual reports.
- Record precise measurements pertaining to access and egress during site surveys.
- Execute asset surveys upon request from the line manager.
- Work closely with commercial, sales, and operations departments to facilitate additional reporting, crucial for supporting business development initiatives.
- Engage with customers to comprehend their requirements, presenting available options to the line manager to ensure optimal customer support.
- Offer assistance to other departments as directed by the line manager.

The ideal candidate:
- Minimum NVQ or equivalent qualification in electromechanical engineering.
- IOSH/ NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications desirable.
- Industry experience in commercial catering/bakery equipment is preferred.
- Exhibit a technical mindset, demonstrating methodical work practices with keen attention to detail.
- Manage their workload efficiently, driven by meeting deadlines.
- Strong computer skills are essential, along with a proactive aptitude for learning and suggesting alternative software solutions.
- Current UK driving license.
