Job Summary
The Service Report Technical Assessor is responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of service reports generated by field technicians or service engineers. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service quality, compliance with standards, and accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify service reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Ensure all required data (e.g., equipment details, service actions, parts used, technician notes) are properly documented.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up with technicians or service teams for clarification or correction.
- Maintain organized records of reviewed reports for audit and reference purposes.
- Collaborate with service coordinators, quality assurance, and technical teams to ensure consistent reporting practices.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying trends or recurring issues in service documentation.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of service report templates and documentation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in equipment maintenance, technical documentation, or service administration.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and familiarity with service reporting software (e.g., IAuditor).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical language and service terminology.
Preferred Skills
- Background in engineering, maintenance, or a technical field.
