Overview

We are seeking a Powered Access Workshop Engineer to join our dynamic workshop team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts. This role requires technical expertise and a focus on safety to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets regulatory standards.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of scissor lift machines to assess repair, replacement, or refurbishment needs, utilising initial field inspection reports.
  • Perform standard diagnostic tests on machine components to determine their condition.
  • Compile a detailed list of required parts and materials for machine preparation work.
  • Perform overhaul, repair, or refurbishment tasks on scissor lifts in accordance with the agreed scope of work, which involves the removal of components, as well as the installation of original or replacement parts.
  • Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they operate at expected performance levels.

Internal training in the aspect of Powered Access / Scissor lifts will be given to the successful Candidate.
