Miller’s Vanguard provides a unique Planned Preventative Maintenance and Technical Hygienic service to our customer base through our made Clean & Service & PPM Technicians. As a C&S Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the servicing and industrial cleaning of equipment within various departments of supermarkets such as the bakery, catering and hot food areas, dissembling for more thorough deep clean, servicing, replacing used parts and safety checks.
We are looking to recruit a C&S Maintenance Technician to join our team of over 100 skilled technicians, no experience required as full training will be provided through our Training Centre ensuring that you are supported from day one! This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to upskill and progress within the company through our Technician program up to multi-skilled reactive engineer.
Your Role: Generally working within a 30-mile radius of your home you will be undertaking Preventative Maintenance and Hygienic Deep Cleaning on various equipment types within our Supermarket customer base and completing service reports for all activity carried out.

Ideal Candidate:
- Able to travel throughout the region from home, and at times throughout the country, providing cover for the business needs.
- Some knowledge of testing and servicing electrical/mechanical equipment would be an advantage.
- Has some customer-facing experience in a similar role and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Over 25 years old (Driving Insurance purposes).
- Full driving license required. UK (essential).
- Must have minimum 2 years field-based experience.
- PC/Smartphone experience.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Enjoys working on own initiatives and as part of a team.
