This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, successful business supporting some of the UK’s largest supermarket, fast-food, and coffee retail brands.
As part of our Installation Team, you will deliver, install, commission, and hand over commercial food service equipment across the UK. You will represent Miller’s Vanguard on-site, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
The role involves nationwide travel and frequent overnight stays. You will also work closely with Installation Engineers, Reactive Engineers, and other departments to support customer requirements and business needs.
At Miller’s Vanguard, training and development are at the heart of what we do. You will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training through our City & Guilds-approved training centre, ensuring you have the tools and support needed to succeed from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and commission commercial catering, bakery, and food service equipment.
- Carry out customer demonstrations and equipment handovers where required.
- Collect and deliver equipment to customer locations across the UK.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and always represent Miller’s Vanguard professionally.
- Work safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Complete small works installations, equipment relocations, collections, and deliveries.
- Accurately complete all associated paperwork and digital documentation.
- Assist other departments and undertake additional duties as reasonably required by management.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours and nationwide travel.
- Electrical, mechanical, or engineering experience.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Desirable
- Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
- Experience installing commercial catering or food service equipment.
Experience working in a customer-facing field-based role.
