Miller's Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering & Supermarket Access Equipment, are looking for an experienced Labourer to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily cleaning and organising all components and assets on the production lines. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK's leading supermarkets.
Responsibilities:
- Using high pressure Jet-Washing machinery and tools.
- Follow strict company guidelines on the correct use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Follow strict company guidelines on the use of Chemicals and the associated COSHH “Control of Substances Hazardous to Health” documentation.
- Operation of overhead hoists.
- Slinging and lifting bulky items to be moved around the cleaning area.
- Hand Clean machines and critical parts to a high standard.
- Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within a specific timeframe.
- Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience working with bakery, catering & access equipment.
- Prior experience with cleaning chemicals and COSHH.
- Understanding of PPE.
- Demonstrate integrity and a strong drive to achieve results.
- A conscientious and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: Mossfield Mill, Bury, Lancashire.
Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
