Job description
Miller's Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering and Supermarket Access Equipment are looking for an experienced technician to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily the stripping of Bakery & Catering equipment. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets.
Responsibilities
- Using high pressure Jet-Washing machinery and hand cleaning tools to clean machinery and parts.
- Follow company guidelines on the correct use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Follow company guidelines on the use of Chemicals.
- Operation of overhead hoists.
- Slinging and lifting items to be moved around the cleaning area.
- Complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience with cleaning chemicals and COSHH.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.

The successful candidate will receive the necessary training to perform to a high standard and will have opportunities for further development through instruction and mentoring from current workshop staff.
