The Role
We are seeking a Senior Industrial Project Manager with proven experience in the maintenance and installation of a full range of industrial & commercial doors, gates, barriers and loading bay equipment. This role includes regular UK travel, overnight stays, and occasional out-of-hours work. This role also requires strong technical, leadership, and communication skills to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive successful outcomes within the Installations department. The role will support the H&S function of the department, along with inter-department relationships and resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- In-depth understanding of project delivery processes, from work winning and bid development through to project closeout.
- Strong working knowledge of UK technical and regulatory frameworks, as well as awareness of global best practices.
- A clear focus on process safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
- Significant expertise in project controls – including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.
- Agile, innovative, and highly collaborative approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
- Confident in client-facing environments, with a strong ability to develop, influence, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Complete pre-installation surveys to identify any potential issues, M&E upgrades, access/egress problems etc.
- Complete post-installation surveys and handovers, ensuring all installations are carried out to a high standard.
- Produce detailed engineering reports.
- Lead and drive the Innovation process, procedures and compliance for all projects.
- Undertake additional tasks relevant to the position as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- A full UK driving licence.
- Experienced Industrial door engineer with knowledge/certification of EN 16005, EN 13241, EN 12453, EN 12604, EN 12424, EN 16034, EN 12445, and UKCA.
- Knowledge of working at height, manual handling, RAMs and H&S.
- Hands-on experience with Powered access equipment.
- Experience with safe electrical works.
- Relevant engineering experience.
