We are now looking for a driven Full Stack Web Developer to join our team.
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Full Stack Web Developer to support the management and development of our WordPress website and internal web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, and custom WordPress themes, along with the technical skills to work effectively with databases, APIs, and version control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, update, and maintain a WordPress website using Elementor and WooCommerce
- Work with PHP in custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Manage and optimise MySQL databases
- Implement and manage version control using GitHub
- Use Linux commands and work effectively in the Linux terminal
- Integrate and manage APIs for website functionality
- Troubleshoot website issues and ensure optimal performance and security
- Support e-commerce operations including product management and customer experience
Essential Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce
- Proficient in PHP and comfortable working in custom WordPress themes
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and database management
- Experience with GitHub and version control practices
- Comfortable using Linux commands and working in the terminal
- Familiarity with working with APIs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Advantageous (Not Essential)
- Familiarity with Appsmith
- Experience with Docker or containerised environments
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for minor front-end adjustments
- Understanding of website performance optimisation and SEO
- Familiarity with website security best practices
